چکیده
Abstract Background Campylobacter jejuni (C. ) is a leading cause of acute gastroenteritis in human worldwide. The aim study was to assess the distribution sialylated lipooligosaccharide (LOS) classes and capsular genotypes C. isolated from Iranian children with gastroenteritis. Furthermore, level dnaK gene expression strains selected LOS intended. Moreover, comprehensive MLST-genotypes inclusive comparison peer sequences worldwide Methods Twenty clinical were fecal specimens 280 aged 0–5 years, suspected bacterial gastroenteritis, which admitted 3 hospitals May October, 2018. Distribution specific investigated origin. measured by Real-Time-PCR. MLST-genotyping performed investigate clonal relationship Results HS23/36c predominant genotype (45%), followed HS2 (20%), HS19 HS4 (each 10%). A total 80% isolates assigned class B Higher detected HS23/36c, or MLST analysis showed that highly diverse represented 6 different sequence types (STs) complexes (CCs). CC21 CC257 most dominant CCs (75%) among our strains. No new ST no common neighbor countries detected. Conclusions C, HS23/36, HS2, population under study. largest isolates. In overall picture, CC353 frequently widely distributed worldwide, although members not This provides universal picture movement
